Join us this Weekend for a Living History Camp Featuring Civil War Reenactors!

The Virginia 28th Regiment, Company D will be having a living history camp this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, June 13th and 14th on the Kernstown Battlefield. Bring the family and come see military drills, musket firing demonstrations, and talk to the reenactors as to how Civil War soldiers lived in their camps. The battlefield hours are 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

This is a free event; however, donations are greatly appreciated to help the KBA in its efforts to continue our mission of preservation, interpretation, and education of a beautiful piece of the Shenandoah Valley and Virginia history. The Kernstown Battlefield is located at 610 Battle Park Drive, Winchester, Virginia, off Valley Avenue between Creekside Station and the Subaru dealership.
