Why Donate to the Kernstown Battlefield Association?

Kernstown Battlefield Association (KBA) is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization which works to preserve and interpret the Kernstown Battlefield property. The KBA works to safeguard this historical treasure, ensuring that its stories and its impact resonate far into the future.

With no governmental funding to sustain ongoing operations, the KBA depends on donors like you to help us share the important history of this place – the people who lived, worked and died here – with our current visitors and future generations. By giving a one-time or recurring donation to the KBA, you can ensure that the stories of bravery and resilience that unfolded on these historic grounds remain alive for future generations.

You may direct your one-time or recurring donation to one of our specific funds or make a gift to our general fund to help us continue our mission by applying the funds wherever they are needed most.

Please consider becoming a “Major Donor” by contributing $1,000 or more to the KBA. Major donations may be made one-time or cumulatively over time. Upon reaching the "Major Donor" plateau, your name will be added to the "Major Donor" wall in the Visitor Center.

You can rest assured that every dollar of your contribution will be used to advance the KBA’s overall mission of preserving and interpreting this historic property. For more information on how to donate to the KBA, please email us or call (540) 450-7835.
