KBA Holds Battlefield Work Day With Scouts

The Kernstown Battlefield Association welcomed Scout Troop 3 from Winchester, who camped out on the battlefield this weekend. As part of their Community Project, the scouts teamed up with KBA volunteers on Saturday, November 15th to prepare our buildings for the off-season and to clear brush from various sections of the fence line between the battlefield and Battle Park Estates, our neighbors to the north.  The Scouts worked hard and we got a lot done thanks to them. There were at least three adults with the Scouts helping to make sure they learned about the tools we were using and that they stayed safe during their work.
