Kernstown Battlefield Association President Gary Sheppard was recently interviewed by OldTownist, a monthly magazine dedicated to Old Town Winchester (www.OldTownist.com and on Facebook). Part of the Kernstown Battlefield is located in the City of Winchester, and the history of the battlefield is closely linked to the city. Gary spoke about the historic figures who figured prominently in the site’s past, about the volunteers who operate the battlefield, future projects and opportunities to become involved with the KBA’s work.
